RCS Recycled Claim Standard
Nel 2020 INTESPRA ha ottenuto il marchio RCS. Il RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) è sviluppato da Textile Exchange, una delle più importanti organizzazioni non-profit che promuovono a livello internazionale lo sviluppo responsabile e sostenibile nel settore tessile. Con questa certificazione, Textile Exchange intende valorizzare l’impiego di materiali da riciclo per favorire un modello di produzione e consumo sostenibile che punta alla riduzione del consumo di risorse (materie prime vergini, acqua ed energia). Il RCS fornisce una dichiarazione ambientale verificata da parte terza che comprova il contenuto di materiali da riciclo dei prodotti (sia intermedi che finiti). Possono essere certificati RCS tutti i prodotti che siano composti per almeno il 5% da materiali da riciclo pre-consumo e post-consumo. I criteri del RCS si riferiscono alle seguenti aree:
composizione del prodotto e contenuto di materiali da riciclo;
mantenimento della tracciabilità lungo l’intero processo produttivo in accordo ai criteri fissati dal Content Claim Standard (CCS) che è parte integrante dello standard RCS.

Ogni processo manifatturiero attraverso il quale il materiale riciclato viene impiegato per realizzare prodotti intermedi (ad esempio: filati e tessuti) o prodotti finiti destinati al consumatore

RCS Recycled Claim Standard
In 2020 INTESPRA obtained RCS trademark. The RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) is developed by Textile Exchange, one of the most important non-profit organizations that promotes responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector internationally. With this standard, Textile Exchange intends to enhance the use of recycled materials to promote a production and sustainable consumption model that aims to reduce the consumption of resources (virgin raw materials, water and energy). The RCS provides a third party verified environmental statement which proves the content of recycled materials of the products (both intermediate and finished). All products that are made up for can be RCS certified at least 5% from pre-consumer and post-consumer recycled materials . The RCS criteria extend to the following areas:
composition of the product and content of recycled materials;
maintenance of traceability throughout the entire production process in accordance with the criteria set by the Content Claim Standard (CCS) which is an integral part of the RCS standard.

Every manufacturing process through which the recycled material is used to make intermediate products (for example: yarns and fabrics) or finished products intended for the consumer
