Tessuti riciclati
I nostri tessuti etichettati con il marchio della chiocciola sono composti per una percentuale minima del 60% da fibre riciclate. Le fibre tessili riciclate mantengono tutte le caratteristiche di quelle nuove e i tessuti prodotti non sono di qualità inferiore a quelli prodotti con fibre nuove.
IN.TES.PRA. è particolarmente sensibile alla tematica ecologica e da sempre utilizza per una larga parte dei propri prodotti FIBRE TESSILI RICICLATE. A Prato la lana e le altre fibre tessili vengono rigenerate da secoli, perciò le tecniche sviluppate sono uniche nel mondo. Possiamo affermare con certezza che in nessun altro luogo i tessuti vengono rigenerati con la stessa efficienza e gli stessi risultati. L’impatto ambientale delle tecniche di riciclaggio delle fibre è minimo. Tutte le acque utilizzate e i rifiuti generati vengono smaltiti secondo le direttive CEE; inoltre il processo non dà immissione nell'ambiente di CO2 a differenza della lavorazione delle fibre nuove. Il riciclaggio delle fibre tessili fa sì che migliaia di tonnellate di tessuti non vengano gettati come rifiuti, ma rientrino nel ciclo produttivo, preservando l’ambiente e riducendo le emissioni tossiche degli inceneritori. Non solo, l'utilizzo di lana riciclata riduce lo sfruttamento intensivo dei terreni adibiti al pascolo per gli ovini. Inoltre tutti i prodotti di INTESPRA vengono realizzati all'interno del distretto tessile pratese, quindi in un'area molto limitata. La distanza tra le varie lavorazioni è minima, per cui si può dire che tutti i tessuti INTESPRA sono prodotti a KM0. Questo permette un grande risparmio di risorse energetiche abbattendo ulteriormente l'immissione di CO2 in atmosfera.
Grazie a questo forte impegno nei confronti dell'ambiente, Intespra ha ottenuto il marchio "Cardato Recycled - Made in Prato".

Recycled Fabrics
Our fabrics, labeled with the snail mark, are made using recycled fibers in a minimum percentage of 60%. Recycled Textile Fibers keep every characteristicsof the new fibers and the fabrics produced with them are not inferior for quality to the ones produced with the new fibers
INTESPRA pays special attention to the ecologic theme and since it was born uses in its production a great part of recycled textyle fibers. From centuries in Prato wool and other textile fibers are regenerated, so the techniques that have been developed are unique in the world. In no other place the fabrics are recycled with the efficiency and the results obtained in Prato. .
The environmental impact of the recycling technology is minimum. All the used waters and generated wastes are disposed following the CEE rules. The process does not create any introduction of CO2 in the environment, differently of new fiber production. By textile fibers recycling, thousands of tons of fabrics are not disposed as wastes but are re-introduced in the production cycle, preserving the environment and reducing toxic emissions from incinerators. In addition, using recycled wool reduces the land use requirements for sheep grazing. Futhermore the 99% of INTESPRA's products are manufactured in the Prato's textile district. The distance from various processing is mimimun, so our fabrics can be defined KM0 products.
For all these reasons INTESPRA obtained the mark "Cardato recycled - Made in Prato".
